RE-ENACTMENT: Battle of Richmond at Battlefield Park, 1546 Battlefield Memorial Highway, Pleasant View**, Missouri. Dates: August 29-30. Park will be open from 10:AM-4:PM. Battle at 2:PM Events throughout the day. Dance at 7:PM Saturday nite. Night cannon fire at 9:PM. Call (859) 248-1974 for more info. (** = May need to verify location info.)
RENDEZVOUS: LML Trapper's Days Rendezvous at the TRT Rendezvous Site, about 1/2 mile West of U. S. Highway 85 & WCR 14-1/2 in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. Dates: September 11th & 12th (tear-down 13th). Some wood, water & hooters on-site. Pre-1840 attire required after 6:PM. Camp Fee $30.00 + refundable deposit w/ clean camp. Modern camp available--only 10 Elect spots available--1st come, 1st served basis. All campfires MUST be in above-ground firepits w/ visible water bucket & shovel. BYOPit or rent-a-pit for $5.00 Pets MUST be leashed. Horses in camp allowed with Evidence of Insurance. Cannons MUST be Pre-Approved & fired ONLY in Designated Area. Contact: A. J. WOMEN'S RONDY: Hunter's Widows Rendezvous at the TRT Rendezvous Site, U. S. Highway 85 & County Road 14-1/2 in Ft. Lupton, Colorado. Dates: September 18-20. Water, some wood, hooters on-site. Theme this year: Fantasy & Folk Tales NO MEN ALLOWED (unless men wear a REAL skirt or dress - Kilts Don't Count!!) this Event except for set-up & take-down. TIMELINE EVENT: Walk Back in Time On the Grounds of the Audrain County Historical Museum Complex, 501 Muldrow, Mexico, Missouri 65265. Dates: September 25 thru 27. Needing Re-Enactor / Interpreters for: buckskinners, backwoodsmen, men or women, European-Americans, African-Americans, Mexican-Americans, Native-Americans.
